Description:
OHPC-603 Biocide is a water soluble, glutaraldehyde based product formulated to control both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. OHPC-603 prevents the growth of bacteria and microbial - inorganic deposits by providing control of sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) and other types of bacteria. OHPC-603 is very effective in the prevention of biofilms.

APPLICATION METHODS
OHPC-603 is recommended for use in cooling tower and closed system and wherever stagnant water may be present in production systems. Batch treatments of 250 to 1000 ppm (25 to 100 litres per 100m3), based on the water production, over a 4 to 6 hours period is recommended to control the growth of aerobic & anaerobic bacteria . The batch treatment frequency is dependent on each system and the severity of the bacteria problem. Injection of OHPC-603 at a rate of 60 to 150 ppm, based on the water production, is recommended to control bacteria on a continuous basis. A Technical Representative should be contacted to evaluate each specific situation prior to application of the biocide.
SHIPPING/HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
OHPC-603 is a mildly corrosive liquid. It is available in bulk quantities or in 200 litre drums. A Material Safety Data Sheet outlining recommended safe handling of OHPC-603 is available upon request.
